General info about buying my art.

If you are interested in an original painting or another art piece you find browsing through the galleries all you need to do is click on the order button and fill in the requested information. You're not obliged to buy all you are doing is supplying me with details to contact you. The details of the sale will always be decided after correspondence. You may purchase through using a credit card, personnal check or direct deposit.

The Prints There are three different types of prints:

1. Most of my pieces can be ordered as giclée prints in various size upon request. For example a 22"x30" giclee print would cost around $400.

Please allow a 3 wk delivery, turn around is neccessary on giclé prints.

2. There are three images available as Limited Edition Lithographs.

3. Unless noted each image can also be ordered as a small print, 8"x10" matted for $35 plus s/h.

 Friendly Gecko What is giclee?

Your limited edition "Giclee" (zhee-clay) is a blending of traditional fine art, and a state-of-the-art digital printing technology. In the "Giclee" printing process a fine spray of ink delivers more than a million droplets per second onto a sheet of watercolor paper, rotating on a drum at speeds of up to 250 inches per second. Precise computer settings control 4 ink jets, each narrower than a human hair. Water-based archival inks are used. The result is an archival, museum-quality fine art print which captures the sublety and luminosity of the original watercolor painting. The "Gicle" is coated with an archival coating to help protect it from harmful ultraviolet light and moisture. The "Giclee" is printed on hand made watercolor paper imported from France. It is a 100% cotton with neutral ph.

Display

Due to the nature of the Internet and differences in computer monitors, colors displayed are not 100% accurate of the original. We have done our best to keep it as true as possible to the original artwork. Another difference is in the framing of the original artwork, the images displayed on this site do not accurately represent the original but we have tried to display them in the way the prints are received.
