Conceived in 1992 when Alexis was visiting Tahiti for a rest. While driving around the Island of Moorea, she found this abundant banana stand with aTahitian woman resting on the side of the stand. The woman woke up and sold her bananas. A week later coming to buy more bananas Alexis found the woman in the same position. She received this as a messaage. That out of rest one bears fruit in abundance. It is a reminder to take time to rest.
Origina l 27"1/2 x 20” sold for $2500 and is in a private collection in Indonesia.
